She is Mary Richmond one of the pioneers of Social Work. Her parents died when she was very young, then her aunts and grandmother took care of her upbringing. Providing him with a good education. Mary Richmond was born in the United States in 1861. She was in charge of changing the way people were helped, formalizing social work, creating a book containing all the techniques of social work. She was in charge of trying to eradicate poverty by looking for its origins.
